Big Limey!
/In 2017, I set out to make a crochet lime to decorate my cubicle since that’s my company’s logo. The first one was just a little guy. I liked him, but I wanted something a little bigger. That’s where lime person v2 came into the picture - and he had arms and legs! This version became quite a hit at the office and I’ve made quite a few since. We’ve even dubbed him “Limey” - the mascot of my team. People will stop by and borrow one before they go on vacation so they can take pictures with him to share when they return to the office. I’m pretty proud of how v2 turned out and the way he was received in the office.
I decided I wanted an even bigger Limey, so here is v3 (aka “Big Limey”):
Big Limey turned out a little smaller than I had hoped, but I’m still happy with him. At this point, I don’t think I’ll be making more of this size (or try to make a v4 that’s even bigger). He’s sitting on my desk at work next to Baby/Little Limey (what I now call v1) and people love him just as much as v1 and v2. Big Limey is a great reminder of why I crochet stuffed animals (or non-animals in this case) - to bring joy to those around me.
