Jeffsgiving 2020: Takeout Edition

Thanksgiving looked different for a lot of people this year due to the pandemic. I think we all know that there’s not much that can stop Jeff from showing care through his cooking, so our annual feast (that our friends lovingly refer to as “Jeffsgiving”) turned into a porch pickup version. He continued his usual tradition of starting the cooking on the day before Thanksgiving and cooking the turkey and finishing up all the dishes the day of. He was especially persnickety about the takeout boxes he bought to package everything up to his liking.

We hopped on a call with some of our friends after everyone had picked up and got to watch their reactions as they opened the food. I think the general consensus was that Jeff succeeded in stuffing everyone full of delicious food from afar. I’m sad we didn’t get to be in person for Jeffsgiving, but I’m so happy we still got to have some semblance of the holiday with our friend family.
