Stitch Fix #23 - March 2018

Lori was back as my stylist again this month with a fix full of beautiful colors! Want to see what she sent? Read on!

 

KUT FROM THE KLOTH Nelsin Lattice Trim Button Down Blouse - Returned

This top was an interesting choice. I liked the material, colors, front detail in pink, and that it's nice and long. Unfortunately, I wasn't crazy about the pattern or that it's button up. It had to go back.

BEYOND YOGA Caught In The Midi Performance Legging - Kept

I was really excited to receive these since I don't own any leggings this color. They're well made and have a slight shine to them. I was surprised that I ended up liking the fit enough to keep since the rise was pretty high - all the way to my natural waist. They ended up giving me a decent shape. These are definitely the most pricey leggings I've ever owned, but I love them! Lori suggested wearing them with the Laila Jayde Molli cardigan I kept in my January 2018 fix - which is exactly what I did and was super pleased.

KUT FROM THE KLOTH Brianna Skinny Pant - Returned

I liked the material and color of these pants, but the fit felt a little off. The rise was a bit too low and the legs were a little short (though I think that's how these were supposed to fit). I didn't see these getting a lot of wear since I don't wear black pants very often, so I felt they had to go back.

41 HAWTHORN Karie Split Neck Blouse - Returned

I'm always excited to pull orange things out of my fix! I (of course) liked the color, material, and length, but fit was a bit of an issue here too. This was just a little tight across the chest/shoulders when I moved my arms, which made me worry I'd end up ripping it. It was also a little big around the tummy area, so back it went.

 

DANIEL RAINN Stegen Lace Detail Blouse - Returned

This top had a lot of fun details! It was a great color and I also liked the material, front and back details, and length. I did quite a bit of waffling on whether or not I liked how it looked on me. Ultimately, I decided to return because I didn't love it enough to give a firm yes to keeping it.

Final thoughts on this fix

I loved all the color Lori sent in this fix! I feel like I've kept a ton of dark colored clothes in the last year or more, so receiving such great colors was fabulous. I think I was being super picky with fit this month and that's why I only kept the leggings. I hope the bright color train continues into my next fix - I'm already excited about it!
