Stitch Fix #27 - October 2018

I took a few months off of Stitch Fix since my closet is pretty well stocked right now. I finally decided it was time for another fix when I realized I needed a new pair of bootcut jeans. Lucky for me, Lori was able to locate the perfect pair of comfy jeans and more!

MARKET & SPRUCE Kassie Hooded Cardigan - Kept

Hooded cardigans must be my thing. I like the length, the material is soft, and I don't own anything else this color. It fits me nicely and is definitely something I'll wear to work. An easy keep!

FAITH + ZOE Astrid Sweater Knit Skirt - Returned

I've never tried a sweater skirt, so I'm glad Lori sent this! The material is soft and the colors/print are nice. Lori suggested wearing it with tights and boots (pictured here with some thin Kirkland Signature/Felina leggings from Costco), which is right up my alley. I ended up sending this back since I prefer skirts that hit a little above the knee instead of right at the knee.

41 HAWTHORN Shenya Pleat Detail Blouse - Returned

Lori chose this top because of the purple color. I like the material and color/print of this top. I wasn't crazy about the tie with tassels at the neckline and the sleeves were just a touch too short so it had to go back.

CALVIN KLEIN SUIT SEPARATES Abina Pleat Detail Blouse - Returned

I love the color of this top and the pleats are a fun detail. The fit was decent from the front, but boxy from the back and overall slightly too big around for me.

JUST BLACK Ariana Distressed Bootcut Jean - Kept

I'm so glad Lori was able to find me a pair of bootcut jeans! I have looked all over locally and found nothing but skinnies. These fit really nicely and are a great wash - not too light or too dark.

Final thoughts on this fix

I was so happy that Lori was able to locate a pair of bootcut jeans for me! I was getting so frustrated not being able to find any when shopping nearby (hence why I tend to stick to Stitch Fix). I also really appreciate that she always incorporates bright colored items into my fixes.
