Holo Taco Fire & Ice Bundle

Simply has finally completed the shimmer toppers line up with the recent Fire & Ice bundle drop. This was another low-key weekday drop and I somehow managed to convince myself to hold off on ordering until my loyalty program birthday code showed up so I could get everything in one go. I’m still working on balancing my nail polish fomo with release fatigue and also not whining about how long UPS/USPS take to deliver nail polish from across the country. This meant I didn’t manage to post a look using this collection until today.

The new bundle included:

• Hot Take - a bright orangey-red crème

• Cold Slate - a bluey-gray crème

• Scorched Earth - a red orange shimmer topper

• Halogen Glow - a yellow/pink/green shimmer topper

• Freezer Burn - a blue shimmer topper

I had a bit of a hard time with figuring out the nail art I wanted to do with these polishes. My thought process went from volcanos and lava to eventually landing on lava lamps. The finished design didn’t turn out quite as nice as I imagined, but here it is anyway:
