Cute Crochet Tank Top
/I was recently introduced to TCDDIY thanks to Youtube’s recommendations. She makes a ton of modern crochet clothing out of category 4 yarn. I have oodles of this type of yarn, so I chose her cute crochet tank top tutorial to use as a stash buster.
I had hoped to complete my project in leftover Red Heart Super Saver in the amethyst colorway, but it became clear pretty quickly that wasn’t going to happen. I added the leftover grape fizz yarn from my Empress skirt and managed to run out of that too. I ultimately had to finish the straps in black.
The pattern was well explained in the video and I followed along fairly easily. I made some modifications to the back to attempt to save yarn and also added an extra set of straps since I like that kind of look. My only complaint is that using a category 4 yarn makes it a bit thick on my body (though this is expected). Overall, this was a nice little stash buster project.
