Team Pumpkin Carving Party

I tend to throw pumpkin carving parties around Halloween each year because I just love carving pumpkins. I wasn’t able to host one in 2019 due to random illness (plus double pink eye - eew) and 2020 obviously didn’t happen because of the pandemic. This year I asked my team if they’d be interested in doing a remote carving party since we’re spread out across the country and it seemed like a fun activity we could all do together.

Our party was yesterday afternoon and I had a blast. I carved the Tammy and Tom Marrow patterns from Zombie Pumpkins on my ginormous pumpkin from Costco. It’s not super even and the picture was taken after I’d let the pumpkin sit out and shrivel a bit, but I still love how it turned out. If you’re looking for a remote morale event - pumpkin carving is a great option!

Disclaimer: Yes, I’m still loving Zombie Pumpkins all these years later. No, they do not pay me to say this (in fact, I pay them for the privilege of using their patterns) and no I will never stop because they bring me so much Halloween joy.

Thank you for coming to my pumpkin carving talk.
