Do you still use Stitch Fix?

Some of the most visited posts on this blog are about my Stitch Fix experience so I thought I’d do an update on how I’m using the service these days. As I’ve said before, my office closed in March of 2020 and has not reopened. My work attire now consists of t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, leggings, and fleecy pants that have mainly been purchased from Costco. I still have my Style Pass, but I haven’t bothered to schedule another Fix since I just don’t need any work clothes.

I do still enjoy rating items in the app or on the web and I like seeing the picks for me to purchase outside of a Fix. The FrenchMauve Melanie knit tunic blazer that I have been curious about for years (but never showed up in a Fix) appeared in items recommended for me in a dark purple color. I had $49 of credit from my unused Style Pass sitting in my account with an additional offer worth $20. This made decent math in my brain for a typically $88 item so I decided to buy it since I don’t own a blazer of any kind.

My main worry with my purchase of this blazer was how it was going to fit - I’ve received one blazer from Stitch Fix in the past and it was just too tight for my wide shoulders. When the package showed up, I immediately had to try it on. The color was gorgeous and the material was very comfortable (bordering on stretchy). I also love the pockets! It’s not as roomy as I’d like in the shoulders, but there is definitely enough give for it to work for me. My first non-Fix purchase worked out nicely, so I think I’ll continue using the service this way until something changes (either my office reopens or I decide I need a Fix for some reason). It’s fun to rate items and browse recommendations knowing that I can purchase them right then and there if the mood strikes!
