Jeff Makes Stuff: Fried Chicken

Fried chicken has become one of my favorite foods during the pandemic and we usually pick it up from one of a few local restaurants and bring it home to eat. Jeff decided to try making fried chicken at home for once instead using a flour mix, buttermilk, flour mix dredge method. It turned out really nicely.

He also whipped up some fried green beans reminiscent of the ones we really liked from Coho Cafe (may it rest in peace) along with a spicy mayo for dipping from Joshua Weissman’s new cookbook. Talk about a happy tummy!
